Hi I'm Nicole van der Wal
I'm a photographer based in Massachusetts, and if I'm not photographing, I'm probably on a bike somewhere. The outdoors, community, and people in motion have shaped everything about how I see.
I care deeply about community, about people feeling comfortable and seen, and about making images that actually mean something. That shows up in everything I photograph, whether it's a brand, a business, or a gathering of people doing work that matters.
My work is rooted in warmth and a documentary instinct, always chasing the real moment, the honest image, the story that's already there waiting to be captured.
